Terms of Use
The rules for using Smart Jobs responsibly as a private business-record system.
Private, approved use
Business members may use Smart Jobs only after the service owner approves the account. Workers may use the worker portal only after claiming a valid one-time invitation with email, Google, or Apple. The project owner controls each project assignment and may revoke it at any time. Keep your sign-in secure and do not share an approved account or invitation.
Your records and responsibilities
You retain responsibility for the records you enter. You confirm that you have permission to store customer, worker, financial, and employment information and that your use follows applicable employment, privacy, tax, and record-retention laws. A worker who uploads a project photo confirms that it is relevant to the assigned project and that they are authorized to capture and share it. Do not upload unlawful material, malware, or unrelated information.
Project evidence, schedules, and SMS
Confirmed worker uploads become project evidence and cannot be deleted by the worker, although an incorrect upload may be flagged. Schedule responses and manual arrival times are operational records, not GPS time tracking or payroll determinations. SMS buttons create drafts in the device messaging app; the user must review and send them, and Smart Jobs does not provide chat history or emergency communications.
Tax and business information
Smart Jobs organizes information and performs arithmetic from the records you provide. Reports, tax categories, estimates, and exports are not legal, accounting, payroll, employment, or tax advice. Review them for accuracy and consult a qualified professional before filing, paying, hiring, or making legal decisions.
Financial tracking and Bank Feed
Bills & Cash and Bank Feed are organizational tools, not a bank or payment service. If you connect an institution, Plaid supplies authorized account and transaction information and Smart Jobs periodically checks for updates. Data may be delayed, duplicated, changed, pending, unavailable, or categorized incorrectly. Review every transaction, customer, job, category, balance, due date, and payment destination. Smart Jobs does not make payments or move money.
Storage and availability
Approved accounts begin with a 2 GB storage limit. The owner may increase or reduce an expanded limit, but will not reduce it below 2 GB while the account is active. Smart Jobs may temporarily be unavailable for maintenance, provider outages, security response, or circumstances outside reasonable control. Keep exports of records you must retain.
Suspension and deletion
Access may be suspended for abuse, security risk, unlawful use, or violation of these terms. You may delete your account from Settings. If these terms materially change, Smart Jobs may require acceptance of a new version before continued access.
Service provided as available
To the extent allowed by law, Smart Jobs is provided as available without guarantees that every calculation, device, provider, or uninterrupted workflow will always be error-free. Nothing here limits rights that cannot legally be limited.
